Your name, organisation and role (university, organisation etc)
University of York and National Centre for Atmospheric Science, Senior Research Fellow in air pollution science and policy
How do you use Air Quality and Health data in your role?
I am interested in how routine air pollution data can provide more value through using it in different ways and linking it to other data sources. My knowledge exchange research looks at how policy makers and the research community interact and seeks to maximise the benefit of interactions; this includes how research data could be used in policy making and how data held by government can be accessed and used in research.
What collaborations would you like to create?
I am interested in the novel application of techniques from data science and mathematics to air pollution data so collaborations with interested data scientists would be helpful. Also interested in conversations with those who hold data that could be of use to government or who would like to explore the use of government held data in research.
